About the project
In this project we are looking for the people behind the organisations in different European cities that are active in the sharing and/or circular economy. It is our commitment to collect and share the many different examples we gather so that you can learn about people and organisations similar to you both in your city and throughout Europe. The resulting knowledge pack may immediately help you and others to develop their organisations locally. By sharing our best and worst experiences we are all enabled to develop our local environments better.
The official title of this project is: “Stocktaking and assessment of typologies of Urban Circular Collaborative Economy initiatives”. And it is assigned to Specific Objective 2 of the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme. As such, it shall support stakeholders in taking up territorial evidence in their policy development. The service shall contribute to better understand how the ‘Collaborative Economy’ (also known as the ‘sharing economy’) is being implemented in different EU cities and how it is influenced by regulations at different levels of government, from the local, to the national and the EU.
